This is What a Healing Journey Can Look Like

Health and vitality go up over time

I get a lot of questions about what the process of healing chronic symptoms with homeopathy looks like and would like to share how I’ve experienced it and what I often see as a practicing homeopath.

This is it. A graph with an axis of health and vitality on the side and an axis of time on the bottom. With a squiggly line that starts on the low left and squiggles with quite a bit of up and down up to the upper right. Some days are better than others. Life, as it does, brings new things our way, including acute illness, accidents, life changes, and stress that can throw us off course a bit. There may be a new symptom for a bit that hasn’t been seen before.

And yet…when we look back over time…our earlier most troubling symptoms are gone and current symptoms are lessening in frequency, intensity and duration. Emotionally, we may feel more ease with things that have previously felt stuck. Out attention is on things we want to bring into our life and how to go about doing so rather than the things holding us back. Our vitality is increasing, perhaps greater energy, mood, and resilience. Our overall well-being is stronger, and we’re able to do more of what is most near and dear to our hearts.

It can be tricky - especially in the beginning - to not see steps backwards as anything but frustrating, upsetting, even overwhelming. In reality, they’re the body showing you what needs to be healed in a deeper way. Listen to your body and heart’s clues. Be open to what is coming up and give it space and the validation that it’s real. Then assess what is needed for support. Maybe a new remedy. Maybe therapy. Maybe a long overdue conversation with someone. Maybe some life style or environmental changes.

I wish you the best with your healing journey.

If you know of anyone that might benefit from homeopathy, I would appreciate a referral and welcome the opportunity to work with them.
